TaylorMade TP Red
$50.00
Released January, 2008
The Pros:Designed for maximum control once on the green. Affordable price for a premium ball. Close enough in terms of performance to the TP Black that they can be used interchangeably based on situation.
The Cons:Poor durability - balls get ripped apart easily. Lose a measurable amount of yardage compared to TP Black / other balls.

The NdV4 Core technology gives low compression, soft feel and higher COR (Coefficient of Restituion) for higher ball speed and more yardage. The multi-blend ionomer mantle works with the core for a high launch and spin off the driver and irons for optimum distance as well as a satisfying sound and feel. The advanced cast thermoset urathane cover promotes controllable spin off the short-irons around the green, and also gives supreme shear-resistance. It as a 360 dimple design and features Low-Drag Performance (LDP), which arranges several dimple designs in a low-drag symmetry to give lift on low-spin, off-center hits and minimize distance loss, even in crosswinds and headwinds.
