Released January, 2008
The Pros:Has a solid feel that gives the impression of being very reliable. Weighted to make the swing steady and consistent. Wide sole and thin topline inspires confidence at address.
The Odyssey Black Series i Putter is similar to the original line, especially in its construction. The body is made out of a 1025 carbon steel and weight is moved from the hosel and redistributed to the perimeter of the head, giving it a larger moment of inertia.

The flange is made out of a high-density tungsten to increase the weight. With the center of gravity heavier, a higher launch angle is provided, and less loft is required to move the ball in the right direction. The Odyssey Black Series i claims to fine tune each and every putter for the best performance and finishes them off with a nickel plating.
