The plasma melding allows the entire club to be completely seamless; without bends and joints that tend to interrupt the flow of a golf swing. The body features a unique grain structure design which expands the Coefficient of Restitution (COR)* area which in turn increases both ball speed and distance; even as Mizuno claims on center-strikes. The Mizuno MX-700 Hybrid also includes a "geometrically driven head shape" which allows for a low and deep Center of Gravity (COG); which ultimately results in better vertical stability, low ball spin, and high ball flight for increased distance and "long, straight drives".
