Cobra Baffler TWS
$175.00
Released January, 2009
The Pros:Triple Weighting System (TWS) shifts weight to the back of the club for a deeper center of gravity and increased moment of inertia resulting in more forgiveness and higher launch angles. A thin maraging steel face insert and a larger face than previous Bafflers helps maintain ball speed on slightly off-center hits. The contoured sole improves the versatility of the hybrid allowing players an easier escape from a wide range of lies and playing conditions.
The Cons:Outdated technology that has been surpassed with the newer incarnations in the Baffler series.
The Cobra Baffler TWS is the latest in a line of hybrids from Cobra to utilize Weighting technology to assist golfers. Where the previous generation DWS hybrid had 2 weights this hybrid has 3. The Triple Weighted System (TWS) pushes it's weight back in the clubhead for a deep center of gravity which in turn increases the MOI.
